KHDX is super pumped to be sending some of the crew out to Goner Fest 8 in Memphis weekend after next.
Goner Fest is put on by Goner Records, which is the coolest record label and record store in the south. This is the 8th Goner Fest, which alternates it’s venues between the Goner Record store, the Buccaneer, and Murphy’s during the day and ends at the Hi-Tone.
The fest begins September 22 and runs through the weekend. The line-up looks fantastic with the re-united Gories and Ty Segall heading the weekend. There are a ton of smaller (definitely not in terms of noise) acts, which are absolutely fantastic such as Shannon & The Clams, Coasting, Icky Boyfriends, Straight Arrows, Rev. John Wilkins, and many more. Stay tuned as we feature many of the acts throughout the next week and a half leading up to the festival.
